Thank you to all the helpers who helped with our deep clean over Spring Break! Everything looks and smells wonderful!!
What is L’Abris Academy?
The French word L’Abris means shelter, refuge, security or shield. One of our goals at L’Abris is to provide a safe place for our children, a shelter from the onslaught of humanistic ideas based on dubious theories of the origins of life, the value of life and the reason for life.
Here at L’Abris, we seek to provide a sound education based on proven principles. We value character over performance, courage over pomposity, and ethics over fame. We feel it is more important to know who our students are than to merely focus on what they can do. We feel that courage to do the right thing should win over the glamour of what is momentarily fashionable. We feel that knowing what is the right thing to do brings true success rather than following the fleeting popularity of public opinion.
Finally, we believe that there is no more fundamental an education than that of learning the truths taught in the Holy Scriptures. We recognize that as the parents you are given the command to “raise your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” We promise to help further the education your child receives at home in the Christian faith by giving instruction in the values that truly matter.
