L'Abris offers school three ways:
  • full-time local attendance (attend class 4 days a week
  • part-time local attendance (2 days in class and 2 days working from home)
  • completely from home (working all 4 days from home)
No matter which option works best for your student, L'Abris staff are always available during the school days to help. We use computer-based learning so that we are just a "click" away for all of our students!

Why Teachers Love Ignitia!

New for 2020-2021

At this time, we are planning to offer in-person classes. Seating will be limited, but we do offer part-time attendance and working from home options (see left column). Some new changes:
  • We will be adding acrylic dividers to protect students at their seats. Students will need to wear masks while moving around, but will not need to wear a mask at their seats because of the dividers.
  • We will not offer a salad bar this year.
  • Students will eat at their desks with the acrylic dividers.
  • Each morning, students will be checked at the door, using a non-touch thermometer. We ask that students stay home if they have a cough, do not feel well and/or a fever.
  • We will have recess and students will be required to wear a mask at recess. For students in Kindergarten/Grade 1, a face shield may be used if they cannot keep a mask on.
  • We will practice physical distancing whenever possible.
  • We will keep doors open so students do not have to touch knobs (bathroom doors will be closed for privacy).
  • Students will be reminded often to wash their hands frequently.
  • We are replacing windows that do not open with windows that will open to allow for more fresh air in the classrooms.
These are certainly unsettling days and we will do our best to promote a calm, stable atmosphere for our students to learn and achieve their personalized educational goals.
